ABOUT JAMAR TECHNOLOGIES
1500 INDUSTRY RD, SUITE C, HATFIELD, PA 19440
Over the past 35 years, JAMAR Technologies has provided equipment to thousands of customers involved in traffic data collection and distance measuring. Our customers have come to appreciate the high quality of hardware, software and service that we consistently provide, enabling them to get their job done quickly, efficiently and painlessly. Let us know how we can help you.
In the mid-1970s, James Martin started a business called JAMAR Sales Company. The company's name reflected the business model as a distributor of traffic data collection equipment made by other companies. Through the rest of the 1970s and into the 1980s, JAMAR established itself as one of the top sellers of traffic data collection equipment in North America.
After years of selling other manufacturer's equipment, and often having trouble with those manufacturer's being unresponsive to his customer's needs, Mr. Martin decided that the only way to provide customers with the highest level of service and support was to have full control over the products he sold. This meant making his own.

It was around this time that the company's name was changed to JAMAR Technologies, to reflect the new direction of the business as not only a seller, but also a manufacturer of equipment.
Today, JAMAR equipment is known worldwide for its quality and ease of use. These qualities, when combined with a reputation for first class customer service, have established JAMAR as a leader in its field.
