What is the difference between
the RAC Plus I and RAC Plus III?
The RAC Plus I is the base model of the JAMAR line of
distance measuring instruments. It is designed to be
installed in a vehicle and show distance on its display as
you drive. You read the distance values directly from
the display of the RAC Plus I.
The RAC Plus III/GPS contains all the features of the
RAC Plus I and adds the ability to store data in memory.
This can be used to collect survey data and download it
to the WinRAC Plus software for producing reports or
exporting to Excel. The RAC Plus III also has the ability
to record GPS coordinates. The GPS coordinates can
either be read directly off of the display or stored in
memory and downloaded to the WinRAC Plus software.
