New and Improved Features in PETRAPro

PETRAPro uses the latest in software programming techniques to provide you the optimum user experience. One area
where this is evident is the file handling of the program. PETRA for Windows used temporary work files, so that any time
you opened a data file, six other temporary files were opened and remained open until you closed the file. PETRAPro
eliminates this additional overhead by doing all work within one file.
Development on PETRA for Windows began in the mid-1990s and the program was officially released in 1998. Since
that time, many changes have been made in software programming that allows today's programs to be more efficient
and faster than their predecessors. In addition to the file handling improvements, the overall speed and stability of
PETRAPro has been improved from PETRA.
