Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to use the WinTCT software to use the Traffic Counter Tester?
No. The Traffic Counter Tester (TCT) comes preloaded with the Federal Highway Administration's Scheme F vehicle classification
table. Unless you have a specific classification scheme other than Scheme F that you would like to use, you do not need to use the
WinTCT software. The TCT also comes with three preloaded default tube length settings of 4, 8 and 16 feet. Unless you need to use
a tube length other than these, you do not need to use the WinTCT software.
